Dr. Bhim Singh, Hon’ble Minister for Industries, Govt. of Bihar, Patna visited Amul Dairy, Anand on November 18th 2014 for an exposure visit. He was accompanied by Shri Shailesh Thakur, Director of Industries, Deptt. of Industries, Govt. of Bihar & Shri D M Shukla, Dy. Manager, IndExt.b, Gandhinagar. The Minister was briefed the activities of Amul & the way Anand Pattern operates. He was taken for a plant visit & Award Gallery of Dr. Kurien, wherein he was impressed with the technology used by the cooperative for the benefit of millions of farmers.

Impressions:

I had a long pending wish to visit Anand and pay my tribute to Dr Kurien. Today my desire has been fulfilled. Dr Kurien was a real son of our nation. He was a symbol of simplicity and well wisher of farmers. The hard work and dedication of Dr Kurien is commendable. I bow down my head towards him.
