Air Vice Marshal B K Sood, VSM, Senior Maintenance Staff Officer, South Western Air Command, Gandhinagar visited Amul on July 10th 2014. He was accompanied by his wife & son. He was briefed the various activities of Amul and the way Amul model has changed the lives of millions of farmers across the nation by providing them sustainable livelihood. He was shown the award gallery of Dr. Kurien and was impressed by the contribution made by Dr Kurien for uplifting the lives of rural population. He also visited GCMMF for better understanding.

The visit to Amul has been a great eye opener and highly inspiring. Visionary Dr. Kurien has given livelihood to millions - a great deed. Thanks to the entire management of Amul for making our visit a fruitful one and special thanks from my wife Preetika and son Shivang for making these few hours’ educative ones.
