A 10 member delegation from different ministries of Nepal led by Mr. Ram Krishna Subedi, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, Nepal visited Amul on July 10th 2013 for an exposure visit. He was accompanied by Mr. Babu Ram Bhusal, Under Secretary, MOCPA, Mr. Chandra Thakuri ,Under Secretary, MOCPA and other delegates. The objective of the visit was to study the Amul model & its applicability in Nepal. They were briefed about the history & development of Amul before the plant tour. They were also taken around Dr. Kurien's Award Gallery. The group was quite impressed with concept and the growth of Amul as a people's institution and the benefits it provides to farmers. The group also visited GCMMF and had interaction with senior officials of federation.
