A group of 13 ICA participants attending IInd ICA - Japan training course on “Fostering Core Leaders of Agricultural Co-operatives - 2012 “ from different countries at IRMA visited Amul on February 21st, 2013 as a part of their training programme. The group was accompanied by Mr. A.K. Taneja, Manager, ICA/JTC, ICA Asia & South Pacific, New Delhi. They were briefed about the activities of Amul before showing the Dairy plant. The group was impressed seeing the automated dairy plant which empowers the rural farmers.

Quite impressive the model, operations and benefits to farmers. A True Cooperative Model to be learnt and replicated to empower people and bring a change in the quality of life.
