They toured the dairy plant and appreciated Amul Dairy's digital transformation, technology-driven operations, and innovative initiatives that are enhancing efficiency, quality, and sustainability across the dairy value chain.
The delegation held a detailed interaction with Dr. Amit Vyas, Managing Director, Amul Dairy, on strengthening the dairy sector through innovation, farmer-centric initiatives, and advanced technologies. They also congratulated Dr. Vyas on the inauguration of the World's Largest Curd Manufacturing Plant under the Amul Bengal Dairy Project in West Bengal and expressed confidence that this landmark initiative would usher in a new era of dairy development and enable Amul to take the Indian dairy sector to even greater heights.
As part of the visit, the delegation toured the Amul Chocolate Plant at Tribhuvandas Food Complex, and the Bovine Breeding Center, Mogar, where they were briefed on Amul Dairy's pioneering breeding initiatives, genetic improvement programmes, and future-ready approach towards sustainable dairy development.
