Today, Shri Sabhesinh Mangabhai Parmar, Chairman, Amul Dairy, and Shri Vijaybhai Fulabhai Patel, Vice Chairman, Amul Dairy, along with other esteemed Board of Directors, visited the Dr. Verghese Kurien Cheese Plant, Khatraj. The delegation was warmly welcomed by the senior officials of the plant. During the visit, the Board reviewed key facilities, including the Cheddar, UHT, and Cheese Packing units. They were highly impressed by the world-class infrastructure, advanced technology, and efficient plant operations. The Amul Dairy team presented an overview of the plant’s robust quality systems, export facilities, and its consistent capacity expansion over the last five years, growing from 4 LLPD to 15 LLPD, with the plant currently handling 8 LLPD. Detailed insights were also shared on the plant’s diverse product portfolio, including UHT products, yogurt, specialty cheeses, and processed cheese.
