It was an honor to host Smt. Nimuben Bambhaniya, Hon’ble Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of India, today at Amul Dairy. She was warmly welcomed by Dr. Amit Vyas, Managing Director, Amul Dairy. During her visit, she also met Shri Vipul Patel, Chairman, Amul Dairy, and shared her encouraging observations about Amul Dairy’s operations and cooperative legacy. During her visit, the Hon’ble Minister was briefed on the inspiring and struggle-filled journey of Amul Dairy, its cooperative foundations, people-driven governance, and its transformative impact on rural development. She then toured the plant facilities, observing modern operational practices, advanced automation systems, digitalization of the entire system, stringent quality control processes, and the seamless integration of digital technologies across the dairy. She expressed her admiration for the high standards upheld by Amul Dairy and commended the officials for their dedication to excellence. The Hon’ble Minister also invited the Amul team to visit the first-of-its-kind Bhavnagar Grain ATM, piloted under her leadership, and highlighted the importance of promoting indigenous technology and cattle breeds for sustainable sectoral growth.
