In a remarkable achievement reinforcing our commitment to sustainability, Amul Dairy has been awarded the prestigious Gujarat State Cleaner Award 2017-2018 in the large-scale (less polluting) sector. This recognition, received today while celebrating 'World Ozone Day 2024', proclaims our outstanding efforts in implementing cleaner production practices. The award was conferred by Shri Sanjeev Kumar, IAS, Principal Secretary, Forests & Environment Department, Govt. of Gujarat, Shri R. B. Barad, IAS, Chairman, Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB), and Dr. Bharat Jain, Member Secretary at Gujarat Cleaner Production Centre in presence of other eminent dignitaries during a ceremony held today at the GPCB Auditorium, Gandhinagar.
