In a significant step towards sustainable agriculture, Amul Dairy, has introduced cow dung slurry dispensing services for its milk producers across the Anand region. This initiative is a testament to Amul’s commitment to organic farming, soil health, and environmentally responsible practices. To mark the launch, Shri Vipulbhai Patel, Chairman, Dr. Amit Vyas, MD, and Shri Vipulbhai P Patel, Board Director, Amul Dairy, inaugurated the cow dung slurry dispensing tanker today. The slurry, fortified with essential micronutrients and beneficial bacteria, will be produced at Sarsa, ensuring maximum effectiveness for farmers who will get high-quality organic inputs. This initiative is designed to enhance soil fertility, reduce dependence on chemical fertilizers, and facilitate the transition to organic farming. By introducing this fortified slurry, Amul Dairy empowers its producers with tools that not only reduce input costs but also improve long-term productivity and sustainability.
