Amul Dairy had the honor of hosting a distinguished delegation of 17 officers from the National Defence College (NDC), New Delhi. NDC conducts an elite course on ‘National Security and Strategic Studies’, training senior Indian Armed Forces Officers (Brigadiers and equivalent), Civil Services Officers (Joint Secretaries/Directors), and military officers from 26 friendly foreign nations.
As part of their study tour focusing on Gujarat, the delegation explored the cooperative success story of Amul Dairy. Amul officials provided a comprehensive briefing on Amul’s operations, history, and its pivotal role in transforming India's dairy sector. The team deeply appreciated Amul’s self-reliant cooperative model, acknowledging its impact in empowering farmers and strengthening the rural economy.
The officers also visited the Amul Chocolate Plant, where they witnessed cutting-edge automation and technology being used to craft world-class chocolates.
