Amul Dairy celebrated its 77th Foundation Day, while paying tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the ‘Ironman of India’ on his 148th Birth Anniversary today at its Sardar Patel Auditorium , in august presence of Dr. Meenesh C Shah (Chairman and Managing Director, NDDB), Shri Devusinh Chauhan (Minister of State for Communications, Govt of India), Shri Miteshbhai Patel (Member of Parliament, Anand), Shri Vipulbhai Patel (Chairman, Amul Dairy), Shri Jayen Mehta (MD, GCMMF), Board members of Amul Dairy and Shri Amit Vyas (MD, Amul Dairy).

Impressions:

The event witnessed the launch of key initiatives under the 'Madhur Kranti' umbrella, including Amul Honey, Amul Refresho (a whey-based energy drink), and Amul IVF Lab—the first lab of its kind established by any dairy in India. Approximately 3,000 farmer members, along with Amul Dairy officials, attended the event with curiosity and enthusiasm. The Chairman of Amul Dairy emphasized the significance of Total Mixed Ration (TMR) in animal nutrition and announced upcoming product launches in the US and other countries. The event also recognized farmer members excelling in dairy and related fields, awarding them certificates and appreciating their progressive contributions. Amul Dairy expresses eternal gratitude to Sardar Patel for envisioning the 'farmers' own cooperative,' shaped by Founder Chairman Shri Tribhuvandas Patel and nurtured by Dr. Verghese Kurien, now serving as a guiding light for cooperatives in dairy and other sectors.
