Shri Nandan Nilekani, Chairman, Unique Identification Authority of India, Govt. of India visited Amul on 12th April 2012 after attending the 31st Convocation of Institute of Rural Management, Anand, which was set up by Dr Verghese Kurien, the Father of White Revolution in India, to impart training on rural management. He was quite impressed with the co-operative and the technology in use for the benefit of farmers. He also visited Dairy Museum and Award Gallery of Dr Kurien.
