Mr Tijekero Tweya was accompanied by a delegation comprising of Dr Samuel K Mbambo, Higher Commissioner, High Commission of the Republic of Namibia, New Delhi, Mr Jakova Katuamba, Commercial Counsellor, High Commission of the Republic of Namibia, New Delhi and other Senior Officials from the High Commission. The objective of the visit was to study the Amul model and its applicability in Namibia

Impressions:

I was very impressed with my delegation with what we have seen. It demonstrated the use of technology in the struggle to fight poverty, ignorance and economic independence. The commitment of the leaders and the people of India to uplift the life and change the socio-economic development of the rural community and the urge to succeed was indeed an inspiration for me. I salute India and AMUL for this commendable work. Be assured that I will ensure an economic working relationship between our two countries. God bless!!
