Dr Charan Das Mahant, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Processing Industries, Govt. of India along with a group of progressive farmers and Dr SK Pandey, Director (AH), Govt. of Chhatisgarh visited Amul Dairy on February 28th, 2012 to understand the working of Dairy Co-operatives and Amul. They were briefed about the entire activities before the plant tour. Dr Mahant had also discussions with Shri Rahulkumar, Managing Director of Amul Dairy during the visit when he informed the minister that Amul would be happy to help them in case of any need.

Amul is a new world, a dream of rural farmers and Dr. Verghese Kurien, which are incarnated by pious souls of rural farmers, to whom our countrymen have deep love and deep faith in deeds.
