H.E. Eng. Afonso Pedro Canga, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Republic of Angola visited Amul Dairy, Anand on May 28th 2016. He was accompanied by a group of 10 delegates from the Govt. of Angola & top officials of Business Enterprises from Angola. He was received by Dr. K. Rathnam, MD, Amul Dairy, Anand and taken for a plant visit. The group was briefed the business model of Amul & the way it has benefitted millions of farmers across the nation. The minister was impressed by the growth of AMUL over a period of 70 years since its inception. He desired to replicate the success of Amul in his country by forming co-operatives & empowering the farmers.
